The spreadsheet provides you with only a guide to your future profits and cashflows.

The model is based on the assumption that you purchase your inventory at the beginning of each month and the inventory runs out on the day that new inventory arrives. The model assumes that your inventory management is runs at the optimum level (most efficent).

The model may at times show peaks and dips in your cashflows, rather than an even increase or decrease. Adjust the number of days (+/- one day) to remove this error.

Instructions

You can only change the green cells on the Start Here worksheet, all other cells are protected.
For most Amazon Seller business, the variables that will have the most influence on your profit and cashflow will be sale price, monthly sales volume and growth.

But have a muck around with the other variable to see how they influence profit and cashflow.

The spreadsheet does not attempt to find the optimum position for your business but show you what affect your decisions now will have on your profits and cashflow over the next twelve months.

Hints:

If your cashflow is negative, try increasing your sale price or reducing your growth rate. A high growth rate means that you are reinvesting more of your profits into inventory.
Try different scenarios by adjusting your sale price and volume, it is often better to sell less at a greater price. The objective is to maximise your cashflow not sales.
