Mael recently joined the firm as a Forensic Accountant.

Mael’s original background is in Construction holding two Master’s Degrees in Civil Engineering and Environmental Management from France and England respectively. He worked on major infrastructure projects as an Engineering Manager in various countries (France, South Africa, USA). He also had the opportunity to explore different professional environments and industries as a Product Manager (Construction Technology) and Recruitment Consultant.

After relocating to Australia with his family, Mael embarked on a new career in accounting by completing a Graduate Diploma of Forensic Accounting with distinction at Macquarie University. He gained experience at a big four firm before joining Dolman Bateman, where he works closely with Fiona Bateman on various forensic matters, ranging from commercial disputes to business valuations to personal injuries. Mael leverages his breadth of experience to deliver innovative and effective solutions to the most complex cases, ensuring the best possible outcome for his clients. He is also working towards becoming a Chartered Accountant.
Outside of work, Mael enjoys spending time with his family, taking his two boys to surf, and staying active.
